Hayley-isms

We went to Spokane a couple weeks ago...but I didn't bring the camera. So here's a few laugh worthy pics of the Haybug.

We made our own laundry soap last week, she helped stir it :)

We went to the Moscow safety fair last weekend where they were giving away helmets for kids.
Hayley enjoyed it, she loves her helmet.
We saw fire trucks, police cars got a sun block deodorant-like stick for your face, who knew?!

When we visited my parents a few weeks ago, we brought home my Dad's bike trailer, Hayley loves to sit in it.
As you can see she has her essentials with her.

This week we started a Mom and Me swim class.
She loves it so far, even though the water is a bit on the cold side and shes shivering by the time we end.
So far we've blown bubbles, floated on our backs, swam on fronts, reached for rings, and jumped in!

Hayley's english has really taken off, we're understanding her much better now. She is also remembering places, like when we walk past the back side of the REC ctr. where Skyler works she says "Dada at work. Dada at work" over and over. She even threw in a "I wanna Dada a Kiss" a few times this last week.
She's started talking about her friends, even ones she hasn't played with in a few weeks. It's really fun to see her personality come out while she plays with different kids. I didn't realize not all kids get along. There are some who she adores and will give all her toys to, and some she just cant stop yelling and shoving. I wonder at their young age, where they cant form complete sentences yet or understand social que's how they determine who is their friend and who isn't.

Not sure if I've posted this yet, Skyler and I are training for the Seattle to Portland bike ride!
It's in a month,  July 9+10th. It's 202miles. We've been trying to train as much as possible and are up to 50 mile rides, tomorrow we're going to try a 60. Yes, we're crazy. I am very excited to do something this big, I haven't ever trained for anything much less "worked out" like most people do, but it's going great. It is such an awesome feeling to be outside with the fresh air cruising around the Palouse.
