May Vacation!

Hayley and I took a week long rendezvous at my parents last week. It was so fun to see all my family and spend time with them knowing we didn't need to leave the next day. I am so blessed to be able to stay home with Hayley and not worry about getting time off to see family. I wish Sky could have come, but soon enough we will be done with school. In the meantime, he is doing great at WSU and will hopefully graduate next spring.

Sky was so sweet and special ordered me peonies for Mother's Day. My favorite.

Hayley has been getting into things. Lately it's the mini sticky notes.

We went to Grandma's for a visit, then to Mc.D. for lunch. Even though the play area stunk like feet, the kids still had a good time.

I got to catch up with a couple of my best friends from High school while I was home.
I cant believe it's been 6 years. I love that we are all in such different parts of our lives but
can still relate and pick things right back up from the last time we talked. I'm sad I didn't get a picture with Sam.

We visited our friends Marie and Ellie too. We had a lovely picnic at the park and loved watching the girls play together. Ellie wasn't as thrilled to take a picture by the end though.

.....Logan sneaking looks as he cruised by going in circles at my parents.

Hayley, loving bath time lately. Likes to line up her animals.

We extended our stay by 2 days, in doing so, we got to go to a dear friends wedding reception. Everything was beautiful. It is so enriching to be near newly-weds. They are just over flowing with eternal happiness and smiles.
(Taken with my left hand, hayley squirming in my right hand, not the best picture)

Saturday Alyssa, Dad, Hayley and I went to pick up their Bountiful basket and had to stop at the hardware store...which led to buying all kinds of flowers and potting necessities for Mom's pots on the back porch.
So then Alyssa and I spent the rest of the afternoon, ripping out weeds, re-soiling and planting all the pots. (Maybe 15 in all?) They look nice and ready for lots of summer BBQ's now.

Had to share this one, we got H. a Mr. Potato head for her birthday and
she has such a good time putting him together.
We missed Skyler/Dada all week and were so glad to see him again Monday, but we had a great time visiting.
