1st Christmas

Sunday best!
...two pictures because it's impossible to get them both to smile at the same time.

While I was wrapping gifts, Hayley wanted to wrap some for family and friends. So she wrapped up her toys. Yes Mom, she specifically chose that rooster for you. I didn't even help. :)

She's also made "list-is" (list's) for all her friends.  Which are taking up the entire fridge and all our "magnets"

Because we're usually traveling on Christmas, we do a little Christmas with just us before we go.
Last night we told Hayley of the Christmas story, and also mentioned Santa may come with gifts. She did not like that concept at all and was scared that he would be in our house while we were sleeping.

Somehow Santa managed to fill her stocking and bring her the "Princess" books she asked for (or technically didn't actually ask him for because she was scared.) All without coming inside! Santa knows all, technicalities don't actually matter when it comes to Santa right?

Family photos

A few weeks ago we had family pictures taken!

I'm so glad we'll be together forever.

Christmas Party

Last week we had our  ward Christmas party, there was a huge turnout and lots of yummy food and of course Santa. Hayley refused to go near him, but Hobbes happily obliged.

Once we got home Hayley got sad and had a near meltdown when she realized "I didn't tell Santa that I wanted the Princess books!? How will he know now? ahhhhh!!!!" Somehow we convinced her it would  be alright. :)

These Kids.

I love these kids. I'm not usually one to post "in the buff" pictures of the kids...or anyone else for that matter. But I thought I should document their first bath together. She was SO excited.

I remember saying this about Hayley when she was little, but Hobbes is seriously SO HAPPY! He smiles constantly and is typically in good spirits all the time. He's such a great baby.

In lieu of the Thanksgiving Spirit and in celebration of Hobbes turning 4mos. His first bite of food was pumpkin pie! Since then we've tried a few other things and he loves food, after a min. of getting used to the spoon he starts jumping forward at the spoon :)

We made donuts!

"I want chocrate on mine."

Silly boy.
