After returning home from the STP, we packed up the rest of our stuff and moved about a mile down the road.
Then, the next week, my mom graciously stayed and helped us un-pack all of our stuff.
Then, the next week, we left for Seaside. Where we were beach bums for days. Skyler wasn't able to join us for a few days so Hayley and I soaked up the rays just the two of us.
As you can see, she wont touch the sand with her feet. It took about a half hour each time we went to the beach for her to re-adjust and warm up to it. After that, she loved it! She even followed a Seagull around awhile. Once we went into the water (which was freezing like usual) It didn't even faze her. "Dis way!" she would say, pointing farther and farther into the ocean. She loved the waves and was sad each time we had to go.
Silly girl, posing for a picture.
One morning we went to The Wayfarer where Skyler's brother works. The food was amazing as usual and we cant wait to go back!
We played tourist one day and went into Astoria. Instead of just driving up to see the column, we climbed to the top! A first for me, though I'm sure Sky has done it many times. We couldn't have asked for a better day, it was so clear, we could see for miles.
Hayley and Grampa
One night we kept Hay up late and had a bonfire.
We ate a sufficient amount of marshmallows and chrocrate (as Hayley says.)
