Hobbes' Blessing
Hobbson England was blessed today!
So grateful for this gospel and a loving husband that is able to give our kid's a name and a blessing to begin their life. Also so glad that our parent's could come to witness this special event in our lives.
Hobbes' first time attending church
Hayley helping with Hobbes' first bath.
First stroller ride, Hayley didn't want her picture taken.
(Yes he is in a dish tub...but thankfully my good friend has loaned me her infant sling that attaches to the stroller and he no longer looks a little umm...less then legit.)

First big trip
At 5wks postpartum we took our first family of four trip to the west side.
It was a very busy Labor day weekend.
We drove over Saturday, dinner with family.
Sunday my sister blessed their new twin boys, I'm a loser and didn't get a picture of the cuties in their matching white rompers. :(
After the blessing we drove up to Burlington for Skyler's friends wedding, then back to my parents.
Monday we drove down to Gearhart, had dinner with family.
Tuesday we chilled, visited the Seaside aquarium, Chinese Ice cream, walked on the beach, ate Pizza Harbor and enjoyed not driving for the day.
Wednesday we drove into Portland, ate at my favorite bakery, Grand Central. Ran a few errands including the Nike employee store (Skyler's fav.) then headed home to Pullman. (exhale)
Only about 1100miles. So worth it to see everyone though and to be there for the blessings and wedding.
Cheeser Hayley.
Such beautiful sunsets in Pullman.

Lentil Festival
Pullman's big to-do of the year, The Lentil Festival.
Yes, that is a gigantic pot of lentil chili. It's actually not bad either.

Two Weeks.
I'll be blunt, this has been our past two weeks.
Skyler is hit by a car while on his bike.
I had a c-section, Baby Hobbes is born!
Hobbes has Jaundice and requires Biliruben lights at home.
Not terrible, but pretty inconvenient, including daily visits to the doctor for blood tests. Boo.
My grandmother passed away.
Mom had to leave early to help her Dad.
We bought a new car!
It's been a stressful couple weeks but we are surviving.
Skyler is fine, just scrapes, bruises and a sprained wrist.
I'm healing good considering what a c-section entails.
Hobbes's levels are back in the safe zone and he's back to birth weight.
I was pretty sad to have to miss my grandma's service gathering but I'm grateful to all that went and to hear that Grandpa was smiling reminiscing stories with friends about Grandma.
I was pretty sad to see Mom leave but I understand she was torn between wanting to help me and needing to be with her sister's and Dad.
The new car is pretty exciting, I haven't been able to actually drive it until today since I've been sore and on meds, but it was a fun 2 miles I took it out for!
Skyler's mom came to help us early, which we've been super grateful for.
Grandpa Chuck
You were always loving, thoughtful, smart, knowledgeable and so talented.
We love you and will miss you terribly Grandma!
Grandma Virginia
