What a busy month. My parent's came through on the beginning of their road trip.
My Dad was running 5 marathons in 5 states in 5 Days. He finished them all and felt good, they loved seeing Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone along the way, we were jealous. Hayley and Hobbes were also VERY interested in their newly acquired RV.
Hobbson is constantly taking things out of cupboards and off shelves. I've got a child lock on everything I can, seeing that we live in an apartment I can't use the screw in ones. boo. So the drawers and corner cupboard are free reign for him. I didn't get my sugar container shut all the way and he pulled it out….naturally.
Early in the month I found out I had an umbilical hernia and was scheduled to have it repaired near the end of the month. I got it when I was pregnant with Hobbson but it had been getting worse and worse to the point where I couldn't walk at times. Surgery timing was perfect though, as it was right on my parents way back so my Mom stayed with us for a week, helping tend to the kids and get Hayley to school each day. Which was a lifesaver, as recovery was a lot more painful and difficult than the Surgeon had described.
Hobbson loves to chew on and carry around this tube from his nebulizer. (He's now on an inhaler thank goodness, nebulizers are no fun.)
We have a climber.
The dining set is Hobbes' personal jungle gym didn't you know? He's constantly rolling things under there and then going up and over all the bars, slowly but carefully maneuvering around under there when sometimes there are obvious easier ways to get the toy out.
Snapped this gem after nap time, Hayley loves her brother. When she hears him wake up she runs in there to talk to him. This day she shared a book with him and they were both "reading" for probably 30min.
