Summer Fun

Some friends in our stake let us come and pick their cherry bounty...yumm!

One day while Hayley was at Cougar Kids camp, Hobbes and I stopped by the Bears exhibit at WSU and they happened to be doing a study. It was hilarious and very interesting to see if the bears could figure out to stand on the wood to get the donuts.

Hot summer days require popsicles.

Beautiful summer sunsets.

...and storms. All of a sudden it was super windy and rainy and before I knew it, my hanging basket was swinging around and around. Before I could grab a stool (and risk flying away myself) to get it down, it had unscrewed the hook and flew off the balcony. Luckily it hit the sidewalk below and not a person or a car! Needless to say, it was unsalvageable.

Hobbes and I went cherry picking again at another friends house.

Happy 2nd Birthday Hobbes!

Happy Birthday Hobbson!

Chocolate Lush...with boulders and rocks

Ice cream cone cupcakes

So fun to have a relaxed summer birthday, playing in the park with friends.

Hayley, Boston, Jace, BFF's

Hobbes LOVES water. Any form, baths, pool, sprinkler, buckets full,
spray bottles, cups, any form, he's in.

Hobbes LOVES all things that go. He will play quietly for an hour with cars, trucks and trains.
He is all boy. We love him so.

Vacation! ...again

Our little creative Hayley fashioned herself a skirt...out of paper. Love her.

Playing at the Gearhart Elem. school playground.

Haystack Rock

I love sunsets.

After spending some time at the coast, we headed up to Kent for a few days.

We went raspberry picking with Alyssa and her kids.

4th of July at the Coast

Hayley had her first visit from the tooth fairy!

Pullman Summer reading program had The Reptile Man come!
He brought lot's of really cool reptiles, yellow snake, huge turtle, rattle snake
and a python to name a few.

Hobbes wasn't so sure about having the little alligator on his head.
Neither was Hayley, until she saw that Hobbes had already done it.

Hayley jammin' to our old silly song tapes. Yes, tapes.

We drove to Seaside July 3rd and made it just in time for sunset on the beach with a bon fire.

On the 4th we decorated scooters and strollers and walked in the Gearhart parade.

It was so fun to see everyone in the summer, outside of the usual holidays visit.
